Does anybody use their main account just for normal playing while they are botting on other accounts? I'd like to do this but I don't want to get ip banned on a bot and then have all my other accounts banned. I'm currently using a VPN for botting, is it possible that my main could get banned if I am online at the same IP as my bot when it gets banned? I've heard of people getting banned because they were using a tainted IP address, and I'm wondering if there's any way I could avoid that

You'll be fine playing your main and botting your other acocunts, you MAY get rolled back/banned if you transfer your items to your main and then you get caught botting on the account.

 

Jagex will remove the botted items on your main and possibly ban?

ive never got ip banned

If you don't bot on your main it won't get banned, if your botting on other accounts theirs a possibility. If your mains cleaned then you have no problem, unless your trading all the botted items to your main there might be a problem.

Not true, i have had an IP ban before 12 accounts banned at once and when i logged into a fresh account it would just say "error connecting to server" every time. 

 

 

And as for Botting a main and goldfarmers:

And if you want to play on your main and have bots going, you could see if your VPN allows tunnels, aka allows the VPN to only be on through osbot.

Maybe but it think they IP banned into 2010 if not still.

They haven't ip banned since YEARS ago, I don't believe they did in 2010 either.

Alright, also, for transferring items to my main. Is it generally safe to do it through a mule account? Like transfer from a bot to an account that doesn't have any bot history, then transfer from there to my main? Or will Jagex take the time to trace the items back to my main and remove them? Also, I know of a streamer who got banned for using a VPN on an IP that was apparently tainted by goldfarming, and his account got banned. I'm not sure how reliable the story is though. And I don't really care if they ban the IP, I just want my main to be safe.
