crazynes124
Ive recently have boughten a SOCKS proxy and i am confused how to set it up through the current OSbot client ?i enter the information i was provided from SOCKS into the following : Proxy host- proxy Port- Proxy user - Proxy pass-also I've selected "Enable Proxy" and "Proxy authentication" from what i viewed on the forum for the proxy help guide there is a launch button underneath proxy pass: at the bottom of the advanced tab but on my client it is not visible ?So just a few questions !how do i launch the client and ensure that the proxy is working on it ? how would i create an account on that particular proxys ip so RS doesn't detect that its my original ip that is obviously flagged for botting ? i want it to seem as if a new ip is just starting their first runescape adventure anyways any help would be much appreciated at the moment i am kinda stuck on the creation of my bot farm till i figure this out
Zikama
I believe theres a script that you can run to see the current IP the client is using (but I don't know the name of it, unfortunately) And if you were to create an account while that proxy is active, it would be created under that IP.
Chris
look in the local section for 'Jack's IP Checker' and it should show your proxy IP if it is working!
