From my understanding, an entity can be an rs2object or an npc, but there is no way to return the closest entity that could be either type

 

This is an example:

Entity ent = entities.closest(e -> e.hasAction("Bank"));

Would allow a user to search for both NPC bankers and Object banks, without having to check if one is null first.

I know that in one of the recent updates that getBank() can return an NPC, but as I said this is just an example of usage.

 

 

I've thought about moving entity from an interface a few times. Biggest drawback is newer scripters (and current scripters) promoting it as the cure-all, creating inefficient practices.
