Difficulties with audio

Hi,

My laptop has issues with it's audio...

I updated my video card drivers last week and since then every time I use my headset or earplugs I only hear background vocals from songs I listen to. This is only happens when I plugged in my headset/earplugs, when I play a song out loud on my speakers it works perfectly fine. (Imagine playing a song without main vocals, thats what I hear through my headset/earplugs) Anyone knows how to fix this?

Kind regards,

Aggre

Edit: I tried to look for audio drivers as I use the realtek audio thingies, but I only find junk which I cant install to update its driver

Sounds like  either a broken jack, or some kind of hardware that's broken. Usually when some audio frequencies are gone, it's because the hardware driver are having problems pulling power to the jack. Have you checked both your audio plug and the PC's audio jack for corrosion?

Edit: If you're using windows, you can go restore your system to the point before the installation of the driver, so that you can check whether or not it has anything to do with it.

I tried looking for a restore point prior to the update, however the last stored update was 2 days ago whilst the drivers were updated a week ago :(
