If you could live in any time-period, in any place, what would you choose?

 

I have 2 different ideas in my mind.

 

1950's America

 

I love the idea of the "oldschool" America. I was born and raised in this amazing country, and as great as it is, I think we need to bring back some of our oldschool customs. I like the idea of the man going and working, coming home to a clean house & a nice dinner made by his wife. The streets being safe for kids, as kids all play in the streets and have fun with one another. I didn't live in the 1950's, but with the way it's portrayed in movies, it seems quite nice to me.

 

Yes, I know about the racism and sexism in the 50's, and I do not agree with that at all. Every time period has that, it's not okay.

 

 

1800 - 1500 BC

 

My reasoning for this is that this is when religion started to branch out. I'm jewish, and around 1800BC is when my religion first really started, by Abraham, who refused to worship the idols, or g-d's, that were common in that time period. I think it would be a truly amazing thing to live in a world where history is really starting to be made.

My grandparents would always tell me about when they were kids and it sounds cool and all, but I would much rather live in the current time period in another country. The federal government is going about everything the wrong way and their priorities are not where they should be.

As for your reasoning for living BC, history is always being made. Religion may have started then, but that's not history. Nothing is proven, just written. I could branch out and give my opinions on religion but that's not your point.

If I had to choose a different time period, I would want to live in the times where dinosaurs existed, solely to make friends with one and ride them around.

Well i think the 1970s would be cool to see, but things were ALOT different back then. So i wouldn't want to live in the 1970s but visit for a couple years.

70s 80s and 90s USA. Also Early 1900s USA. Those seem to intrest me.

Probably a few decades back like right before technology got big. Maybe I could be part of those who thought of the brilliant ideas.

Back in the Roman empire for obvious reasons.

Probably 2161 when the United Federation of Planets is first created.

I would like to have been there when the Earth was being made....

I'd probably go back to the Medieval times, seems fun.

The Pre-WWI Era. I like that era, the music, the way it's portrayed in movies, how it's described in books, everything. Everyone seemed happier then, but that's just how I take it.
