Antiban suggestion

Featured Replies

I just thought of a small antiban that may be somewhat useful. It may be a bad idea, just give me your feedback.

Basically when you start a script (or in the client settings) you can type a list of  phrases to say, and while you're botting the client will randomly say these phrases. You can choose an option to remove the phrase from the list once said, or keep it on there to be said again later.

Example phrases

  • Soo bored
  • Fletching is a pain in the ass lol
  • Anyone know fastest thieving exp? Is it Blackjacking?
  • So close to 90 magic
  • I get the feeling I should get some sleep soon

The idea is to say something that doesn't require a follow up reply, so if someone replies to you, you aren't really obligated to reply again. Also, each phrase would be custom designed by the specific user. This may help ban rate. I think it would be especially useful when doing something like fletching or alching or crafting / whatever and you're in a busy spot like the GE. Little to no one will see your message, let alone will reply to it.

Ideas?

If bans are automated it doesnt has to do with speaking or not speaking. So when you keep saying the same things it seems more banlike imo.

But what gets an automatic ban? How do we know that speaking or not speaking is a factor?

It's a good idea though, I could always play around with it for my scripts. I already have a web-based word spinner to create (somewhat) unique yet legible sentences, so I could simply expand the thesaurus and work on it that way. It seems like it should be a script setting rather than a client setting, however.

We add our phrases. You can randomly choose a phrase but it can't be the same. Talk only if there is a good amount if people around you. Let us choose if you can

We could add a phrase to select depending the script you are using. For example, if you are using a fletching bot it will randomly pick-up a sentence into the ''fletching speaking list''.

I plan on re-writing the Antiban class, but it's so far down on the list that I'm going to close this topic. It's something I want to do but just don't have the time for right now.
