What's with the falling GP prices?

Featured Replies

I noticed that OS GP prices have steadily been falling, a lot of shops used to be $2.30/$2.40M and now they are fighting to sell at $1.85/M.

Anyone know what's going on to cause such a big dip in prices?

Word is that there is a dump going on generating massive ammounts of GP which, of course, push the price on the market down.

I'm just sold gold 1.25/m no fees paid its terrible

well that stupid on your part....

well that stupid on your part....

Nah bcuz I don't sell to non trusted members incase chargeback lol divica pays 1.3 per mill

People glitched the game which has made items such as Elysian spiritshield come into the game more common, with this being said it has decreased the price in a lot of stuff.

Thats old, recently the same group that did that found another exploit and duped pure cash into the game in huge amounts. I believe they were bringing in about 70m cash/hr 24/7 for a couple weeks

Yeah they fall pretty fast bought 4month ago for 2,5euros 1 mill now i could get for 1-1,3euro lol

Hmm, I've heard it has to do with the new platinum tokens that came out

Jagex should just remove all the duped gold..

How do they know which is duped gold..?

Are people also noticing items crashing?

In theory, the more gold there is, the higher the prices of items will go.

If there is more money available in game, the prices of items should rise due to inflation of the value of one GP.
