Is there any way to find out why a user was put in TWC without looking through the dispute archive?

Just ask them I'm sure they have no reason to lie.

Just search for the user's name in the dispute archive section and if a thread pops up, you can read that specific thread and find out why there were put into the Trade With Caution usergroup. Another alternative is PM'ing a moderator and they should be able to tell you the reason :)
