Back after a long break from runescape. i want to get back into botting for personal use only

my question is can you get banned for botting on one account while playing legit on my main account if  so whats the chances of getting caught.

You could do it if bots have different IP than your main account. 

But if you can't do that, then don't take the risk of botting and getting your main banned.

Thanks for this thread, I've asked in many other forums and they couldn't give me a correct answer. I won't risk my main again. I probably start a botting account and I run it on a different IP address

i've been banned on 4 accounts so far on this ip, other accounts that didnt bot havent been touched. But i expect it soon so ill be using proxies from now on tbh

Late answer, but yes, obviously. If your IP is botting, why shouldn't your accounts be banned? Especially if you transfer gold over / have any interaction between them.

you don't get banned playing legit they don't ban all accounts on the same ip that's just a myth I do it all the time without my main getting banned.

It's not a myth at all. You have just been lucky so far.

Personally I have never been banned while playing regularly on my main and botting on other accounts. IDK I don't think there is actual proof whether it matters or not.
