And to add a little more depth 1 ban is not that big of a deal if its the first offense and as long as its not a Macroing Major.

 

I thought the second ban is always perm ban now.

 

Not usually my main from 2002 was banned for 14 days (macroing minor) in 2006. It expired in 2009. Then i was banned again for 24 hours (again Macroing Minor) in 2010 then again for a week in 2012 (macroing minor). And EVERY single time they claimed they would ban me perm next time and now has all those offenses expired......

So basically if you don't get another offense in the expiry time of the last you should be fine....

 

I am talking about 07. Everyone that has banned so far has been perm the first or the second time. No one ever made it to their 3rd chance.

Yes they did lol. Sometimes perm ban, most times not though lol

Not always. They usually always say your next one will be perm ban, but it most likely isn't...though it's a lot more macroing minor (2 week) bans getting handed out recently, rather than bot busting...which just infuriates me lol

Yeah since they changed their policy in 2009 (for more leniency for members) i think if you're a member and not gold farming you get like 4 chances before perm and if the last one(s) expired then you get unlimited....

I don't plan on getting high pray, so it wouldn't matter to me :P

I reckon it's about 75% bots and 25% legit players. In 07 at least, I haven't played eoc in years, but in 07 scape everywhere is just bots literally...maybe that's because all I do is bot, and am always in bot locations lol...but still pretty bad man

yeah true. and as you said they only ban people to keep legit player around banning all bots would be like IRL closing all the walmart, targets, etc....

I kind of wish that bots never came out for CERTAIN things. ex; easy skills such as cooking/fm..just so you could say you earned those but since there are the bots for them its like whats the point? no one cares anyones because of that...

I remember getting 99 cooking when it was actually an achievement and your whole friends list came to watch you cook that last lob/shark!

I got a 24 hour for botting aviansies in EOC then botted in 07 24 hours later and yoloed it. (on my main to)

and it's still 100% fine, I don't bot stupid hours
