I wanted to go into the Air Force, but I was too tall. I have a friend that's going into the Marines, however I'm trying to persuade him not to.

Was in Air Force JROTC and hated it. Would never join the AF unless I got a contract to train to be a fighter pilot of some sort.

JROTC is usually for making rated officers aka pilots. Non-rated is useful, but they are dumping money on the ones who make them their bread and butter. 

Every male from 18-62 is a military trained in Finland. I will step in service next year. Coastal Jaeger Reginment

Prior Army, Was a 92F served for 2 years and didn't opt to go back due to a lot of internal drama within the units I was placed in. (Was attached to the Aviation unit in Ft Hood, A lot of the SSGTs hated eachother and tried snaking there way by giving other platoons work so there platoons could go to the bar etc.)

i'm not a huge fan of war, and i don't see the point either.
I'll probaly never join the military, but it would really depend on a lot of things

Was your contract 2 years? Our minimum is 4 years.

Depends on the MOS supposedly, few guys in my unit were 4 year contracts but they signed on in 2012 I think, I joined in 2011 and the only contract for the MOS was 2 years or 4 years Reserve.

Signed for 3 years and 17 weeks. (17 weeks is for OSUT). JROTC is for making people interested in the military, nothing more. I sadly only had Air Force JROTC where I was at and hated it. Only did it to get a pay raise when I joined the Army. The LT. Colonel hated me due to I wanted to be Infantry from the start and bashed on the Air Force for those 3 years. Lol

I personally have never considered it, i believe my Grandad's uncle was an air pilot in the 2nd world war. I have mad respect for anybody who puts their life on the line for their country!
