How to prevent skype resolvers from getting your IP.

Featured Replies

Skype resolvers basically are something that can get your ip through skype. You can prevent this really easily though.

As you can see here, a quick input of my skype username shows my ip address. How do you stop this from happening? Simple.

First of all, go to here on your skype and click the *Options*

Next, go to Advanced > Connection and check mark the "Allow direct connections to your contacts only" and click save.

Congratulations. Skype resolvers no longer work on you anymore and nobody can get your IP through skype.
