Which is safer to use? a proxy or mirror client on an IP where bans were handed earlier?

Why not both? you can use 'proxifier' to use a proxy on your osrs client. you can also use a proxy within your browser.

 

A proxy is always the better option in this case imo.

Just cause the IP has had bans on it doesn't me you should completely stop using it. All my proxies I use I've had macroing bans on them. I'd suggest to stop using an IP if you notice your bans start coming in extremely quickly espically if they weren't before or if you get a "gold farming" ban.

Mirror client. 

Normal client gets you banned within hours because of the auto-detect. But as Dyrone said just use proxifier you can use both then.

I got a 2 day ban on one of my accounts and i still use 2 accounts on that ip to bot farm ^.^

 

most the good scripts don't support mirror, and mirror dosen't support proxies, kinda geyyyy
