April 22, 201510 yr I really don't like 5x5's, especially for beginners. I honestly think you're better off just working out normally, 4 day splits 12 sets per workout etc. i feel like 5x5 only gives strength not much muscle mass and when you're bulking/starting it's muscle mass that's what you want. Espesh since gains are gonna come fast for a beginner. Goodluck though hope it goes well
April 22, 201510 yr No, keep doing 5x5. If you never been working out heavy before it is great to build a steady base. Don't give up mate! Remember, being in the gym is the fun part. Now eat properly to support muscle GAINZ! Edited April 22, 201510 yr by luddepower
April 22, 201510 yr Author Hash1mate: I aim for strength actually, I look like a bones and skin, so doing ANYTHING for me should make me look normal.

April 22, 201510 yr Author guys it's 3 weeks, i still look like a shit, but ive done a pic "before" tho xD
