Question to Devs+Mald

Featured Replies

Pretty sure I'm not the only one whos been wanting to ask it, answer all questions or the ones you're comfortable with! It might also help some of us understand how much work you actually put in etc etc. Win-win. :)

Devs

1) Is this your only job or do you have another job on the side?

2) How many hours (average) do you put in on the client daily?

3) How much do you make from being an OSBot developer/community admin?

Only the question #1 would be something I might maybe answer.. #2 & #3 are quedtions that will only make kids butthurt

I don't think it's a very polite question to ask about their income. That's no one's business but theirs m8.

I'm in the US military.

 2) How many hours (average) do you put in on the client daily?

Non-weekends I work maybe about 30 mins on the client itself (I have uni+work). Friday is usually 10 hours, Saturday/Sunday 4-5 hours.

3) How much do you make from being an OSBot developer/community admin?

It's a pretty stable paycheck as of now, but definitely not livable by any means.

osbot makes 17,000$ annually

http://www.freewebsitereport.org/www.osbot.org

at least thats what i read form looking around

http://www.siteprice.org/website-worth/www.osbot.org

but as you can see its kinda inaccurate.hopefully i cant get banned/suspended for this its public info... but again these are just estimations as it seems

at least in america you couldnt pay for gas with 360$ divided between the 3+ devs and the admin

Even my estimations ( which are way off ) is much more than 17k, at least per year. Don't trust anything unless it comes from the source itself.

I'm pretty sure osbot makes most of their money from vip, sponser, and script purchases

Advertisements probably make a portion of it.

Accurate except for the script purchases part; the 30% we retain goes a majority to taxes.
