osbot 2.3.44 - Camera Angle, objects can't be found

Featured Replies

OsBot version: 2.3.44

Description of bug/error: Occasionally the camera angle is such that the script is unable to find what it's looking for. In my case, it's usually to climb a ladder up or down. And it won't even work for staircases. I know the spelling is correct in the input, the script runs about 70% of the time, and it gets stuck and needs me to manually nudge the camera angle before it is able to see what it was looking for and it then clicks the ladder. Though it never worked for staircases...

Instructions how to replicate the bug/error: Setup the pathing in Dreamfighter to use a ladder on any route to fight monsters. Occasionally it will get stuck even though its standing right next to the ladder, it won't click it until I manually nudge the camera angle. Once I nudge the camera angle the script finds the ladder and clicks. If I don't nudge the camera it will sit forever.

Script name ran causing the bug/error: DreamFighter

Don't have any screenshots atm, but it just looks like the character is right in front of any ladder and the camera angle seems normal. However it just doesn't recognize the ladder sometimes until I move the camera myself.

Yep I noticed this too. It happens because of the way .interact() / InteractionEvent works.

It's not precisely accurate. It sacrifices percise accuracy in order to use very low CPU usage, and to have less lag.

I have made my own version of .interact() which I call .interactPrecisely() which works perfectly everytime, but it uses more CPU usage (I dont mind about that).
