Basically it seizes. Idk how else to explain it :p No exceptions/etc are thrown and stopping the script does not stop this behaviour. I've noticed it happen on pausing/resuming.

Yes, that pattern drawn on the screen is < 1 second of the script running, so spazzes out and tries to run all over the place. If it is let run it will go back/forth across the screen in a similar manner.
