krazykills Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I haven't played in a long time and was thinking of coming back, last time i played OS botting was pretty high risk. How risky is it to bot nowadays and what kind of bots are safe and what should i avoid.
LeBron Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Depends on what you bot, where you bot, what your IP is, how many bots you're running and of course that little factor called wrong place at the wrong time doing the wrong thing.
krazykills Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 (edited) So if i wanted to bot 99 fishing/cooking, good chance im getting banned? if i wanted to bot multiple accounts a proxy is pretty much mandatory then? edit: i only have plans to bot on 1 account, and basically only skills not goldfarming. i.e fishing/cooking lobs and sharks Edited February 20, 2015 by krazykills
Khaleesi Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 Ban rates are now higher then ever. bot smart, don't suicide Woodcutting and agility probs highets ban rate in my opinion.
krazykills Posted February 20, 2015 Author Posted February 20, 2015 so whats a good strategy to avoid getting banned? 2-3 hours on 4-5 off?
LeBron Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 so whats a good strategy to avoid getting banned? 2-3 hours on 4-5 off? It doesn't work like that mate. Could bot 1h/day and still get banned, could bot 16h/day and not get banned.
Ycd518 Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 you need to watch what you bot. Don't bot the obvious places (rock crabs, flax fields) you know what i mean. Bot places that nobody really goes because player reports are actually a big thing
