Need to do an oil change.

Featured Replies

theres this cool place called jiffy lube and they do it for you and dispose of the oil properly so it doesn't hurt the environment

I think a ol' rubber tube and and some mouth suction would suffice.

YESSIR

Why would you buy that. Just pop your drain plug and put in into a sealed container. You can take it to oriellys, or a quick lube center and they have public oil disposals at most of them.

I worked at a lube center for 6 years :s

Ye i use it on yur mum when i do the oopsie. Works gud

I realize that, but thanks for the reminder.

But tell me, how would this 'hurt the environment'?

If anything, it'll hurt the environment more by using gas to drive to an oil chance station and back.

Why would I do all of that extra work?

Sucking out the oil might leave more sludge in your engine than draining it. Plus don't forget your oil filter either way.

If it's sucking it out, it'll suck out the sludge. If not it'll sink to the bottom of the tray where I can then suck it out.

And yeah, I know. I already have one. Just got a Mann one because f it.

jiffy lube destroyed one of my cars. i change my own oil because atleast then i know its getting done the right way, and its not done by some potato making 9.25 an hour not giving a damn.

I'd rather do it myself because YOLO

And why would I go pay someone else to do a simple oil change? That's a pure waste of money.
