I was pondering methods to which we could take regarding securities for the market. Then I thought of ways scammers might use to fool people abusing their trust. What if a highly trusted users uses old account pictures to sell an account and scams multiple users? That could potentially be awful!

I'm proposing we hide all account threads after the account has been sold, so that scammers can't make a quick buck. Thoughts?

Perhaps that could be the exception to the rules but requiring all pictures of sold accounts to be removed upon selling an account on the shop/multi-acc thread.

it isn't hard to use google and find images. Hiding them will do nothing, we usually lock old ones etc. You can do a quick google search of the image and see if it has been posted else where.

That requires far more effort as opposed to searching to the oldest page of Accounts and taking all of the same account pictures.

There are like 5-6 other forums with markets, scammers aren't going to go through pages to find an account but not go to another site and find it if they can't find it here.

That's why sometime when i ask game name account people say i will only say after you pay ! ROFL

That's a valid point, although at least we'd be making it slightly more complicated from our end!

I feel like it's reasonable to use it as an extra precaution.
