Oliver Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 I usually meet my friends on 23 of dec in a restaurant in the city. Later on we go boozing in some clubs. On the next day we visit the graves with my family to put a very small christmas tress on it and light some candles. Later the day we usually visit my aunt in the city and give each other small presents At the evening, we light the candles on the christmas tree in our living room, listen to some music and give each other the presents. After that, we start with the dinner. I make the starte, a shrimp cocktail. The main course is fondue (with soup, not oil) and after that it depends if we aren't to full Later comes my stepbrother (my age) and we have some wine or beer and decide if we should go out or not. How about you? Do you also have some kind of traditional "dinner-menu" ? Do you go out on 23 or 24 ? Do you even like christmas? 3

BotRS123 Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 Visiting the dead near the Holidays sounds depressing. Did they die around that time? What you do sounds nice, but other families may not like it.

Oliver Posted December 6, 2014 Author Posted December 6, 2014 Visiting the dead near the Holidays sounds depressing. Did they die around that time? What you do sounds nice, but other families may not like it. It is a tradition in Austria. I would say 70% do it.
