I'm pretty scared to log in using the client when I get home. My account is currently botting combat somewhere and I've seen a couple of posts from different people saying they were banned within 10 seconds of logging in through the OSBot client, almost right as they load up a script.

 

Put on top of this that someone had also mentioned that there were hardly any people on Runescape from the server numbers at the time a few of these bans were posted.

 

Has Jagex finally figured out how to detect being logged in through an interactive client ?

 

We all know that half the people that play 07 bot because the game is too tedious.

 

Please post here describing what script you were using and what punishment your account recieved.

I was banned 2 days ago, but I got unbanned, now i'm just babysitting it whilst on my main, like i talk on the bot to other people so it looks like i'm a legit person

lol there is 13k people playing at the same time yesterday there was 20k. Mass bann for sure..

The way I understand it is the scripts that are written and used by all of us use "hooks" to latch on to the Runescape code in the background and interact with it. They may not have been able to detect if you log in with a client but they could have finally developed the technology to detect if any of their code has been latched onto by an outside source.

 

I don't think it was a ban wave, just server issues.

 

 

 

 

You need to understand that literally half of the population of 07 uses bots. There are as many bots as there are legit players. This is not a server issue, I would not load up any scripts right now until this is confirmed or denied.

I lost an account for 2 days

lost four accounts over a week at yews and mining

Solution - Don't bot during Jagex's office hours. My gold farm hasn't been touched since I started using this strategy a few weeks ago.

I got perm banned 2 days ago

there has been a large number of server issues past few days, but there also has been ban waves, I have lost 4 accounts this week, my main only a 24 hour ban and roll back in EOC, I now made new accounts and botting in 07 try miss wednesdays/Mondays, those are usual bot clearance days

lol lost 2 accounts hunting gf, glad i put money on my mule :P
