idk, how others think or maybe most of ppl will find this suggestion unnecessary but ill still suggest it

 

wouldn't it be good if  there would be an list of banned members(like an "Banned accs" tab at "Members")with their history/details(the skype they used to scam etc), what for they got banned(reason) etc. cuz i just see sum ppl banned recently and i dont even know what for lol, i always wonder abit.

Would be a ton of work.

I guess @Arctic made a Skype and PayPal Blacklist in the Market section ages ago. Not sure if its up to date though

I suggested that before arctic and mods told me that it was a stupid idea.

Arctic suggested it and it was the best thing that happened and stickies threads and announcements everywhere.

it really sounds like a neat idea to show unsuspecting victims who to avoid; however... there is one unintended consequence that must be avoided.

in a nutshell some otherwise law abiding users may use the ban list as an easy way to be remembered. in other words some people may see the ban list as  an opportunity to make a name(albeit a bad name) for themselves without  the hard work and effort that goes into making a good one. it could be argued that those same people would have scammed regardless at some point but i am positive there is a tiny subset of people who would take the opportunity to make themselves known who wouldn't otherwise had the opportunity not been available.

 

There's also a problem with the time it'd take collecting all the banned user names and giving explanations for each ban into one  big list but that was already mentioned above I think.
