User rang PayPal, they said it was too late to cancel the case and we will have to wait for the decision from PayPal.

I know it's my opinion, but the guy have had more than 24 hours to resolve this. I gotta say it doesn't take that long to cancel a dispute, it's as easy as contacting paypal. If he really claims it was not on purpose, I don't understand why he isn't trying to resolve it with rush.

 

Your very mistaken. This was my call with them and update to millenium:

[17:12:55] iSpyeK98: they put me through the the agent who deals with cases and she said because the case has already been put through and accepted it might not be possible to close it at this stage. I also said to them i e-mailed them 24 hours ago to close the case but that hasn't been read or replied to. She said shes going to put a note saying that i wish to close the case when it goes through for a final decision but if it does turn out that they closed the case in my favour she said i should just send you all the money (252$) back to you. She said for me to look out for my e-mails in the next few days regarding the case as well.
 
I'm dealing with the situation as promptly and swiftly as possible to resolve this as I was shocked to see why this case was made as I said because my paypal account got accessed by someone else. 
 
I also go to college from 9AM until 3:45 PM and today I had an appointment so got home at 5PM. As soon as I got home I rang up paypal so please don't comment negatively without knowing the full story.

If you're not part of a dispute please don't post in it unless you have useful information, thanks. We will continue waiting for the PayPal dispute to be resolved.

Ive gone ahead and banned the user as this has taken far too long for a simple Dispute cancellation. If he wishes to return he will need to refund you.
