View New Content always works for me. And Alek is right, we worked hard to remove clutter from the forum so I don't support adding a pointless hook.

I don't see what he mean's but "clutter" also, it works fine on many other forums for example, it just is easier to see what players are replying to and then makes more chance of people posting more.
