Bans are annoying, and very unpredictable. There are a number of precautions you can take to minimise your chances, but the ban potential is still always present. I would recommend botting responsibly - Keep botting sessions short, use generous breaks, play legitimately in-between sessions and you should be fine. Here's OSBot lead developer's thoughts about bans:
