How can you think that any Cop is good when the people who see if he did anything bad is his superiors? LOL

If an individual went outside right now and shot someone, does that make every person in the world a killer? No? Then why does the actions of a few cops, doing their job may I add, constitute the theory that all cops are cold blooded killers? You could make the argument that the amount of police brutality and infringement on our civil rights has increased immensely over the past few years (which the cops aren't even to blame for, people should actually educate themselves) they're doing what they need to survive. If they don't they'll get fired and be unable to provide for their families or themselves. Being a rule enforcer is much harder than it looks, especially when you're constantly walking the line between what's morally right and morally wrong.

I read a statement from a police force in a state (cant remember which) and they said 'We aren't here to help you, we are here to enforce the law' which is in a way right, but yet extremely over ruling. And this shooting is a perfect example of that. I'am on Powells' side, i hate the american police force. But On the policemans' side, he shot him instead of tazing him, as they say that if a person is High enough on adrenaline, or drugs, a taze will not take them down.And so he was taking safety Precautions.

after reading all the comment i come to this conclusion. If someone comes at you with a knife and you have your gun drawn, you are going to think do i have time to pull out my tazer and possibly miss before he is on top of me making an attempt on my life. I also agree that a shot to the leg can be hard to make so i would say a lower body shot has the same effect as a leg shot and would have been of equal pain to take down Powell. I stick by my earlier comment though when i said 6 shots, twice to the head (one reported to the back of the head) is excessive force. It would also be interesting to know how many bullets from each officer entered the victim. Also Swizz calm it down a little dude.. some of your comments have been offensive. Here to discuss a issue not shout abuse at one another.
