It could also have meant the highest amount of times he managed to do it in one day, and that he 50 days to train for it

Why not just go lift?

lifting wont decrease your belly, if you have a big belly and want to tame it then you shouldnt lift, i do push ups tho, im too lazy to go to the gym and pay money for it while doing push-ups is much better

lift is JUST biceps, nothing else

Lifting weight not only helps with muscle mass gain, but also reduces fat %, and increases your metabolism.

Just do whatever exercise is fun and gratifying to you. Sure if you're just starting out exercise might seem gruelling, but if after some time you aren't looking forward to your workout you are doing something wrong. Just keep a clear and open mind OP while you go through this and don't be afraid to stop partway through to go explore another form of exercise that may be calling to you. Trying to slave through something you begin to hate is a surefire way to turn you against exercise and return you to a sedentary lifestyle. Not trying to discourage you, I've just seen a handful of guys either get so fed up with some large goal that they quit altogether or grind out their fitness goal just to stop exercising for a long period of time because their past experience wasn't enjoyable.

Have fun biggrin.png

Unless you're doing hundreds per day you won't gain anything. It also depends on how you're leveraging your body weight.

when i do pushups i always do 100+, first time 30-50, rest 15-30 seconds, 20, rest few secs, 20, 20 and so on
