Returning Null

Featured Replies

@Override
    public boolean Activate(Script script) {
        return script.interfaces.get(x).isValid()|| script.interfaces.get(x).isVisible()
    }

neither check for a interface return anything,or they are all returning false when i can clearly see the interface

You are forgetting to add the most important check which is null check. Otherwise you will get NPE's all over the place. You could have this instead:

@Override
    public boolean Activate(Script script) {
        return script.interfaces.get(x) != null && (script.interfaces.get(x).isValid()|| script.interfaces.get(x).isVisible());
    }

i was under the impression that .isValid() was a null check..

i found a almost workaround though so it's fine ^_^

It most certainly is not fine. null checks are a great thing to overuse.
