Tackling Random Events Together!

apparently, we have to pay for vip/premium scripts and on top of that we're responsible for making sure the client is working by having to watch our bot get a random for hours while devs just sit back on the beach watching the cash roll in

Lol well look here. I don't get paid to fix random events. You don't want to sit and watch your bot? Well I don't either. Most of the scripters here trying to help out aren't getting any compensation.

So you can either lend an account and in return get a fixed random solver, or not lend an account and continue complaining.

Well, in my opinion i would love to give you my account, that you could fix the randoms 'cause theyre a pain in the ass atm.

But it would help that devs could give FREE Vouchers/VIP's for people to lend the accounts what are stuck on randoms.. This have helped alot of other clients aswell so it would help this client too, and growing community aswell.

That's the dev's choice, not mine.

lol well look here. this is the first time of me hearing that an oldschool bot requires accounts from the people that are paying them or they will refuse to fix randoms; this is probably the only client that has that policy lol

It's not a policy. It's a request.

I don't speak for the devs. I just try to help out where I can.

the way you talk, you act as if you are speaking for them, you basically said 'give acc or nothing will be done' which conveys how they are thinking.

In a sense it's true, because we'd rather not make changes to a random without being able to test them.

but that conveys poor management to customers does it not? if you rely on your customers to fix your random event solvers from the client you are basically selling to them, how does that convey professionalism?

honestly i've experienced first hand, posting a random event error at other clients and seeing it get fixed within the hour, idk why OSBot struggles so much with it

All good points, but I'm not one of the developers sooooo :p

We're not relying on you guys to fix it, we're relying on you guys to get stuck in a random.

Just because you've seen it happen on another site doesn't mean they don't need an account. Maybe the bug that needed fixing didn't require any extra data (unlikely). Maybe a user already PMed one of the admins with an account (this has happened on OSBot too).

When OSBot 2 first launched I fixed many randoms, many within the hour, thanks to people lending me an account.

well considering the appalling state that OSBot is in, maybe it's up to the devs, or the people higher up to get stuck in and start fixing randoms mate.
