Is this real tea? Will jagex really unban my account after 1 day? This is strange. Is jagex really giving second chances now? Can anyone confirm that they were unbanned after a day or is jagex teasing me?

Ye. Take the small ban and don't question it or you can email Jagex and ask for a longer / permanent ban if you are unhappy with it..

    yah they do 2 day bans or straight to perm

    it says 1 day for you but its probably like 1 day 20 hour (example)
