Because you can connect with someone who shares similar interests. At least for me. It's hard to find someone IRL who won't judge me for being on OSBot/RS.

So I was talking with @jimstr because he wanted some powerleveling done. He realised he was from my same area (Raleigh, NC). We are already planning on meeting at a local Five Guys and taking/posting a few pictures.

 

This isn't official yet, but I just thought it was cool that I met up with someone from my area over OSBot.
