this release features some patches for the pinball random event, interaction events, banking, and more. Many small and minor bugs have been fixed which have been mentioned in the tracker.

It's a safeguard against detection but if you disable it you shouldn't worry much. It prevents the client from accessing code that was injected but Jagex rarely, if not ever, does this anymore. Most bans are detected by long runtimes, several failed random events (most if not all are currently working and up to date), profiling of your activity on RuneScape. For example, if your account rarely does something else other than run your most profitable script all day, you're botting at a very high-risk and should be careful.

Why are all client data files deleted with every new client release. We have to add all the rs accounts and settings every time we update.

Any ideas? I've got no tabs open, rebooted my computer and re-downloaded client etc.

EDIT: Managed to get it working by waiting 10 minutes and re-trying.

An user in the chatbox had the same issue, he said it got resolved after restarting the client several times.
