Java Problem, Opening osbot

Featured Replies

Okay so i had java version 8 and when i clicked osbot the java file would run, but i was told i need java version 7 for it too work so i downloaded it. Now when i try to open the file it will not open it comes up with command prompt but it closes to quick to see the error it says. anybody know any fixes? i have tried reinstalling it, i have tried downloading java 8 again but it just isn't happening.

The solution to this is to have ONLY Java 7 Update 55/60 installed. Any other versions of Java installed may cause conflicts.

is that possible? 7 AND 8? lol never knew, thought it just overwrites

Jar files open with Java Platform SE Binary which is javaw.exe file not java.exe. Also make sure your java environment variables are set. If that doesn't work just download java 7, set java environment variables, google it, and do the following.

open notepad, paste that in

@echo off
java -classpath .;"osbot 1.8.15.jar" org.osbot.engine.Main
pause

save it the same location as osbot and when saving select all files for type and name it osbot.bat or anything.bat

then open run the bat file.

Please uninstall all Java versions you have completely and remove your entire OSBot folder and all clients, or anything related to OSBot. Then download Java 7 55 from here and that's it. Then download the client on right click > open with Java

Tell me if that works
