Exams

Featured Replies

I have exams during June, I revise for about 3-4 days before each exam for about 5 hours a day

1) Going through the whole specification

2) Exam technique

3) Practice some past papers

Was just wondering what your guys' thoughts on this is? What are your styles of revision?

I'm not the type of person that can revise a month before an exam, it doesn't do me any justice

Let me know your guys' thoughts!

Heyyyyyyyyyy.

6 of my 8 exams are maths and 2 are physics. For most of my maths revision I am doing past papers over and over. I haven't done much revision for physics but I intend to write notes for the entire physics textbook then do past papers. The Physics A level I am doing is really bad because hardly anybody does it so the revision resources available are very bad. Even the text book is very poorly written.

Since it is half-term, I have been doing most of my revision at my local library but I intend to go back into my college to revise there when it starts up again. I'm aiming to do about 7 hours a day but mostly I do about 5.

I'm a nerd without doubt. I revise my notes weekly since the start of the year. I prefer to read/highlight revision guides etc and do past papers.

I love learning things my way.

Rather than buying the textbooks offered by my university I'll look for the best alternative (whether it be other textbooks, papers, videos, audiobooks, etc..) that suits me personally. The current standardized educational system kills the passion for learning in my opinion.

  • 2 weeks later...
