Ban rates?

Featured Replies

Okay, so atm im hunting red chins and i'm using the prerium hunting script. Im almost on 90 hunting and id like to know some ban rates! How bannable is hunting atm and exspecially red chins? I also want to know how bannable cooking/woodcutting are!

Woodcutting Yews is at a high ban rate right now (Moderators checking the areas themselves) You have more of a possibility to get a moderator ban (2 days or so) than a anti bot ban (2 weeks, first stage)

Hunting bots aren't really JaGeX's problem right now because the fee is incredibly high. So you won't have as much of a chance to get banned, plus it's hard to tell if one is botting chins anyways. Can't forget to mention that they have good anti-ban on the hunter script.

But there is always a chance of getting banned! and make sure to use the break system. I set mine to normally around 14 hours. (I don't stick to the same break time, as I myself would find that suspiscious if someone logged out at the same time every day, if I worked at jagex. But that's just my superstition) and having it break for 10-30 minutes.

Hope I helped :)

Thanks so much! Can you see banrates somewhere? And i don't like to use the break systenm because the bot loses 5 traps per break and my accoundt can dc due lagg and lose another 5 traps.. :(

I don't think there is a ban rate database, people only really know from what they have heard/seen about certain high bot locations.

Places where an extreme amount of bots hangout are generally going to be high risk, as Jagex Moderators tend to check these areas more than areas where there is little activity.

Also, if you are unable to use the break system, baby sit your bot and take breaks every now and then manually so that you do not lose traps and so on. If you are really concerned, only run it when you are at home so that you can check on it regularly.

cooking at burthrope isnt a high banrate, as there are alot of people botting there and no1 really talk to eachother anyway.

:)

The ban rate is low because there are a lot of bots there? That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.

lets clear this up:

cooking=afking

so..people never really talk. and won't suspect on botting there.

=win?

even if every1 is bot, who would suspect them? no1.

its my sense.

They don't base who is a bot depending on wether or not they talk.

People get banned for botting regardless if they talk or not. They could be in a clan chat, active on the forums and still get banned.

Woodcutting for the most part is pretty afkable, and I don't generally like to talk much while I do woodcutting. Yet, it is known that woodcutting yews, where there are heaps and heaps of bots is very risky as many people have been banned for doing so. Hardly anyone talks, so they shouldn't get banned right? Wrong.

Your logic is flawed on so many levels.

Thanks guys. After i get 99 hunt, I will do 99 cook straight away. :) Im 50 cook atm, should i do lobs till 85 and switch to sharks? Using gauntlets ofc

You're best to look up some guides on cooking, it varies from person to person as people prefer to do there own methods. For me, I didn't start lobbies until I was in the 70's (Forgot which level they don't burn at) I did tuna up until 70 something, and than lobbies until a pretty high level and then switched to swordfish/monks. But yeh, look up a few guides and base the way you train from what you learn :)

I don't think any ban rate can be too high of anything. If jagex really wanted to they could quarantine most bots out within a week. Jagex cares about profits, and knows that bots are bringing them in money, so why would they ever eliminate a good source of their income?
