Featured Replies

The amount of times I see these threads... I also deem MalwareBytes useless when it comes to rootkits. Please send ME a private message to get rid of this virus, I don't mess around.

bot is safe. any1 else who tells me its not, lies> those people downloaded a virus or got one from skype/chatbox.

hope this clears stuff up,

then you're my proof, cuz like i said,

its 100% safe

Have seen a lot of people talking about crypters and rats on the chat which made me very uncomfortable. Don't download anything from skype/chat and only download trusted scripts.

What I do is scan my whole computer in the end of the day before I go to sleep and it also helps alot. Just keep your registry and drivers as clean as possible. Never had troubles and ofcourse I download nothing that my anti-virus or anti-malware thinks is suspicious.

Hope it'll help you too.

All you guy's are suggesting that I'm not being safe lol, I know how to protect myself from these scumbags but I think It's a worm that someone else in my house picked up and effectively spread it to my computer.. Irregardless I still can't go on RS. sad.png

EDIT: Here is a picture of the email showing the "No Character Name Available" http://gyazo.com/8c1a4545a8c4a0d7b9f57b65d3947a99

A worm spreads itself from one to another computer in various ways. It's very likely people are infected while they think they know how to stay safe, when obviously a good virus bypasses everything they know to stay undetected. A good virus scanner (Kaspersky for example) is the best prevention, but even Kaspersky will not always detect newly written virusses until they have come across it themselves and updated their database with the signatures etc.
