Hacked i guess?

Featured Replies

I'm not sure what this is, but I was botting using the sorcoress's garden bot and logged out went and got food and my password was changed. I recovered it with my email and changed the password, successfully getting the email that confirmed the password change, then i try to log in and it says my details are still invalid. I'm so confused lol, I recovered it multiple times and tried logging in multiple times are different computers and it was still invalid. I'm curious if this has ever happened to anyone else or if anybody has heard of something like this happening because I'm legitimately clueless... I emailed the jagex recovery team but since it's saturday I have to wait til sunday. Anyway just thought I'd try and get some help from the forums, thanks for reading,

Quite a lot of people keep posting about being hacked, i would make sure that you don't download a script that hasn't been virustotal'd or checked by a trusted user and then obviously don't click any stupid links, malwarebytes your computer and just go from there! Wish you luck, hope you get it sorted

You must have a trojan or a virus, if you need help removing the virus send me a private message.

Please get malwarebytes anti-malware and run a full scan on all of your drivers.

I had the same thing happen. No viruses, or malware at all. I'm completely clean. I have not downloaded anything suspicious either.

I'm already doing that right now tongue.png, I'm usually really good about this stuff like i know how to handle it but when it happened to my friend he could actually recover his account, is there some kind of trojan or virus that can change my password like that? Also I noticed when it emails me that it says "Hi Character Name Unavailable" and i check and i have a numbers sign with a random string after it.. (ex. [#8JB1QA3F, This shits wack..

Some trojans can see what you type etc. Post what your scan comes up with when it is complete.

What scripts have you been running on your bots? How long ago did this happen?

I recommend to not download ANYTHING on skype for the time being. That could be where you got this from (Worm spreading around, is what i've heard)

I'm not completely sure, but just take precautions.

I keep getting hacked, Very annoying as you can imagine,
I had a "Professional" Virus removal service and He done a good job, even going through the Registry
Still no virus......

I have no idea what it is .. might just quit

Script i use is Kokeis Chopper .. Which alot of people use

+ Im not a idiot i don't download ram from YouTube or other Bullshit (I download pretty much nothing unless its from blizzard :p or OSBot)

I had the same problem occurring on my 1 account. I would reset the password and it would still be wrong. I sent a few emails in to jagex and they replied back telling me to switch the password and then it worked. I think this could have something to do with a ban though because when I checked my bans and mutes I had 2 2 day bans one stayed and one was quashed. Both these showed the dates of right when this account problem started.

is this bot legit?

Yes this bot is 100% safe no worries.

Do a full system scan on your computer with Norton 360 (which I use and is extremely trusted, or malwarebytes, both are pretty good)

Then:

Click the start menu --> type msconfig --> go to services tab --> uncheck any unnecessary or unknown services --> go into startup tab --> uncheck any unnecessary or unknown services --> and that should fix it.

Good Luck, if you need anything else, please send me a message.

this might bet a RAT (Remote Administrative Tool)

their is a program called JRat that allows people to export viruses as .jar's.

If you ran anything that is not approved/trusted thats most likely why.

Check your Task manager if their are any Un-Defined Process names.

if you've ran a .exe, thats most likely why aswell, the reason why the AV  is not detecting it is becuase they "Hacker" used a Crypter (Changes the Source of the the virus so the AV wont detect it.)

It's definitely not our client or premium scripts "stealing accounts."

As much as you don't want to believe it, I believe you were either hacked by someone you shared your account with or a keylogger.
