[Discussion] Shouldn't this be enough for "TWC" or somehting?

Let's say I'm buying an account from someone, as you all know, ACCOUNTS ARE ALWAYS RECOVERABLE. Even more than Paypal is.

Me: I'll buy your account, how much PP?

Seller: Nah, only 07.

Me: Why?

Seller: Chargebacks

Me: Well, you can recover your account, seems only fair that I'll be able to get my money back, should you choose to do so. And if you do that, I'll still be the loser in this seeing as I've trained your account and put gold on it.

Seller: No, paypal <insert stupid excuce, debt, unverified, problems with PP>

Me: I'll find a MM with 300+ FB who'll send you PP.

Seller: No, just 07, you go first.

Seriously? To me this sounds like the biggest scam there is, best case scenario I'd get the account for a day or two, worst case, I won't get get to log in. This is such an obvious scam and should be dealt with, I believe it's called being ahead of the criminals and preventing crime before it takes place.

What you guys think?

1.) no middle man will trade paypal?

2.) why should he accept pp if he simply wants 07 gp?

It's either very fishy or he's just being very cautious. I can imagine some people prefer 07 gold over PayPal as PP is not always ideal to deal with when it comes to unverified accounts and transactions being on hold.

Everyone has their own methods & precautions to take when trading.

Although it does seem suspicious, you can't go ahead and assume he's a scammer.

Well, he also wants to sell an account. I don't know about you, but if I was selling my ORIGINAL account, I'd accept PP, if the guy would chargeback, I'd simply recover my account. Since he'll get the account with no stuff on it, worst case scenario, my account has trained a few levels and maybe even has some stuff/gold on it. Matter of fact, I'd PRAY he chargebacked, I'd make money out of it.

If i would sell the acc i would prefere GP but also accept paypal if the buyer provides me his ID to his verified PP.

If i would buy the acc i would pay via paypal or GP this depends of the price of the account, who he is and so on.

If I did go first in a case like this and the account gets recovered, would the guy be banned?

If you are uncomfortable with someone's trade conditions, don't do it. Let them know, and if they still insist on doing it that way, don't do it. No one is making you trade lol

Depending on the situation and circumstances, I'd say yes.

(So long as he's original owner or has proof he bought it from someone else)

If I sell you an account and don't accept PP from you and only 07, would you say I deserve TWC?

I'd happily give you 07 gold with your 890+ feedback.

Then after the account gets recovered and you come complaining to me then I say I bought it off someone else. Feedback isn't everything and I wouldn't recommend trusting someone purely off their feedback count. It doesn't amount to trust, just how many trades someone has complated.

I wouldn't buy an account from anyone if they aren't original owner. And I highly doubt you'd give up your nearly 900 FB and $100 donation for a $100 profit.

Better be safe than sorry, though. :p
