Osbot client exiting

Featured Replies

Ever since the update where you can pick how much data you use, osbot on my VPS has constantly been closing for an unidentified reason. This is extremely annoying, and i hope it is fixed soon.

If you're talking about the osbot prompt im unable to see it because it exits immediately.

Also , another thing to note is that when osbot opens, it opens 2 clients rather than 1. ofc i always close 1 to make sure im not running 2 clients.

No i mean in the terminal, not sure  what the process is on linux but i would imagine it's nearly the same as windows;

  • Open Terminal
  • Change directory to where your osbot.jar file is
  • rename client to osbot.jar

Then type the following:

  1. java -jar osbot.jar
  2. Once the "Loader" is visible make sure you tick "Debug Mode"

This will run OSBot with the terminal window still open and if it closes by itself any errors will still be visible in the terminal window ^_^

in linux you use the command "cd dirname"

You need to set up System Environment Variables in order for this to work. You can find a guide here: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/linux-unix-set-java_home-path-variable/  <== Never used nor am I familiar with linux so if someone can verify this it would be great.
