That's pretty stupid in my opinion... failing to deliver your side of a contractual agreement or not delivering the right stuff should be classified as scamming.

I'm pretty sure JaGeX said once that its your fault for being lured... But lurers get randomly banned like CLS Product (lol).  It's usually for Real-World Trading though, because that's a bigger deal to them I guess (idk).  

Why are you mad anyways?  Did you get lured for bank loot?

Well I think we're getting away from the topic, but I feel like both aren't ever banned.  Just the way things are, its your fault for getting scammed/lured.  I don't think anyone recently has been banned for any form of scamming.  You have to scam bank though, but its your fault for pressing "ACCEPT".  

 

ON TOPIC: My account is a zerker, but I want 70 defence.  I don't plan on going GWD, mostly pk, but I'll probably PvM with my friends in-game/irl.

Depends if you want to range/melee/tank. 

 

Range = 90+ Range 70 + Defence 43 + pray (70 preferable) minimum.

 

Melee = 90 + Attack, 90 + str, 70 + Defence, 43 + pray (70 preferable) minimum.

 

Tank = 90 + Defence + Guthans + Whatever stat you'll hit the boss with 90 +, 70 pray minimum.

Ahh, ok. I'm 30 something range/def atm. I can get pray up so easily so it doesn't even bother me at the moment. I'll let you know when I have 90 range, if you still want to do it.

Seeming as you wouldn't be tanking, you would need higher offensive melee stats to hit General Gaardur, you would need at least around 90 attack and strength to be effective otherwise you'll hit constant 0's and the Tank will get slaughtered because the general isn't killed quick enough.
