Featured Replies

Sooo just playing rs as usual today, then my net dc's. go to log back in someones on my account 10 min later i get on, all my valuable stuff is gone. I havent downloaded anything else or put my password anywhere, other than osbot so yea just saying, seems suspicous

Have you visited any Runescape websites lately that required you to input your account information?

Or did you log into RS via and email you received from 'Jagex'

If so you were probably phished and should change your email/password.

Neither of those, have not typed my password anywhere other than in the osbot client. have downloaded nothing other than osbot since i downloaded it. have been to no websites other than youtube and facebook.

also assuming i got ddosed as internet dced and when i went to log back in, someone was on my account, so means that person would have needed to get my ip, which also points towards osbot.

not meaning to be a dick about it, but it does seem suspicious......

Have you done a recent virus or spyware scan? You might have picked up a virus somewhere along the lines.

Your account details are stored within your 'local.dat' file inside your 'Data' folder under 'OSbot'.

Meaning that all details are stored locally, so if your account were to be compromised, I assure you it wasn't OSbot.

As for someone DDoSing you and having your IP, that again, sounds like someone else may have some kind of Malware on your computer.

I'd recommend downloading https://www.malwarebytes.org/ and checking for anything malicious.

I can assure you osbot did not hack you man, you probably entered your details on a fake runescape website.

As I've said on other "I got hacked" threads, I've had over 400M rs07 on my account whilst running the bot, and I have never been hacked.

I would like to think it wasn't osbot..i am truly stumped as to anything else it could be.

as i have been sitting here trying to think of any other solution and i cant, have not downloaded anything in past couple of weeks, have not added new friends over things such as Skype. haven't put my rs information anywhere else other than runescape main website. have done a full virus scan of my entire computer which came up with nothing. have not accessed any dodgy websites. have checked for malware nothing shows up.

so to be honest I don't really care about the account i would just like to workout how it was possible.

and i am 100% sure did not enter details on fake site

Well I am 100% sure osbot did not hack you, might wanna go through your history and check all the runescape links you've visited.

Did you use any local scripts? Those aren't monitored by the staff, and could have viruses in them.

Sorry this happened to you nonetheless.

no local scripts. but may have just clicked to the cause. on this forum for a script here http://osbot.org/forum/topic/32004-gimp-ape-atoll-go-bananas/page-3 theres sum1 who posted a link to a so called proggy pic. which i foolishly opened, the link didnt work as u could imagine, one of the moderators might want to check it out as thats the only think i can think of it being.

also thanks for all the help guys.

osbot is a great community as was why i was so shocked to think that was wat had happened.

I was thinking this.

There is most likly a local script that has some sort of virus in it.

idk but my first steps would be to scan computer and put a bank pin on your account, then I would contact Jagex about it because I heard they are starting to do item refunds
