But when people come into chat and ask for help, it encourages them to know they're being helped by someone who has a script on the SDN. A colored name would help this out.

 

You should step up and show them you are a scripter.

The whole coloured names is going to turn the place into a damn circus. Honestly.. we get so many features, why complain over something that's just more aesthetically 'pleasing'. Colour doesn't make a difference and SDN scripter isn't hard at all to get.. I got it from posting my first script, now here I am a month later looking at my code and facepalming at how shit it was. I wish to get OSD one day, not anytime soon but one day so that gives some more motivation for you guys.

I can assure you, SDN scripter is significantly more difficult to get than VIP. Not only that, but we make OSBot thousands of dollars a month.

I do. I try to respond to as many scripting problems as I can. But if someone comes in with a scripting problem, they just ask everyone. If there was a scripter name color, they could focus their questions towards them, or even PM them.

Sorry for a large amount of posts, but I think the "scripting" type ranks should be reworked as a whole. There's no reason for even an SDN Scripter rank in my opinion. Just give ranks based on Java knowledge.

It's too easy to get that rank, He can't even let his script banking.

No hate on that guy but I agree give ranks based on Java knowledge.

Would be an pain in the ass to see him with a colored scripter rank.

 

An suggestion:

The admins/Alek may choose who can get his name colored. But that might be the same as Official script writer.
