Figure out how to make the client use LESS Cpu.

Featured Replies

I have a duel core 2.7ghz with 3.0 turbo boost AMD a6 4400 processor. If I have nothing else opened I use to be able to run 3 bots with little lag. Now with the new updates I can only run 2 with more lag then before. I would like to see the CPU usaged of the bot drop and I think this should be on the list of things to do for the next update. I can run basically any amount of bots on p****bot as they somehow managed to make p****bot use LESS cpu than the actual game itself when opened on a browser. Now I know you guys haven't been around since 2006 like them but I've seen you guys produce an aweomse client with some features I never even saw coming. I know you guys can figure it out so please do! Thanks for reading!

Also the Less CPU button just makes the client lag horribly which makes all of the scripts fail super hard.

I think that this goes without being said. Lower CPU is generally better.

i have 1.8 duo core and 2 gb ram and i can rune 2 bots 24/24 on 50 fps :D

^Yeah I guess it's different for everyone. I have 4gb of ram. I just want to be able to run 2-4 bots and be able to use the web at the same time. Right now I can only bot 1 account and use the web at the same time.

Yeah. at 3 bots i get 2-5 fps:/
low cpu just makes the scripts lag and mess up

i have 16gb ram, 4.3ghz.

And 40% CPU is being used? The hell is this? I can play multiple hardcore games at the same time and barely go above 15%.

The heeeellll...

Admins will just say this is runescape. They only use 3% of the total cpu, the rest is the client. I hope they will look into this statement again.

At 3 bots i'm at a steady 50 fps

8 GB of RAM with 2.5 GHz

Running 9 bots (3 clients) total on my computer going EXCELLENT on low CPU Option running 11 FPS (because low CPU sets frame rate to 10), only using 80%.

I am pretty sure this is what the LOW CPU Option does:

It sets the FPS to 10, which may make it seem like it is failing hardcore or is SOOO laggy, but in reality it is the painter thread that is slowing down how fast it actually paints the screen onto the client.. That is all. I have had NO performance issues with my scripts when running LOW CPU. It seems like it is lagging but in reality it is not... Just slow showing of the image...

Duel core, Quad, Or even 8? How many cores you got.

I have tested this multiple times with flawless scripts. They fail pretty often with the low cpu option.

Can't even play Battlefield 3 without lag anymore

I also have a question. Everytime I load something in Java, my computer lags for about 10 seconds.

Why is this?
