Hacked

Featured Replies

I left my Bot open over night and went to sleep. I didn't leave it running, just left it at title screen.  Go to log on this morning and I was cleaned.  I'm not saying it was the bot but I had this happen at 5AM when I was asleep,

What script were you using, and it most certainly wasn't the bot. If anything it was a script which is highly doubtful, so i'd imagine you have downloaded another bot and they waited and waited and kept logging on your account until you got a bit more gp.

OSBot is completely safe. I'd recommend downloading and running Malwarebytes to try and find malicious content. If nothing is found it might have been a phishing website (fake runescape website that logs your password).

That error makes it look like you lost internet connection for a brief amount of time.

You may be infected with a malware. I suggest downloading an antivirus software and Malwarebytes. Turn off your internet and scan your computer with both to find any malware hidden on your computer.

Yeah it wasn't Osbot itself that could have hacked you. It could have been one of the scripts you were using, or you might have downloaded something that hacked you. You should probably run a security scan and see if you have anything that could have done it.

I mean I wasn't blaming the bot I was just wondering what that was, as well as how I got hacked in the first place.  It must be malicious because I know I would not have fallen for a phishing site of all things haha.  But thanks for the responses and suggestions.

I asked have you used any "other bot" don't post the same just asking, and you might find your answer, it seems people always say "i used this bot for 5 months no hack and randomly hacked today" Well of course they wait and wait until you get rich, or if they think your not gaining any more gp, they will just take it.

I didn't answer because I haven't used another bot, not for at least a year and a half.

LOL

All I was asking was what that was? Trying to find out if that had anything to do with the problem.

Oh and also when I said malicious in my second comment I wasn't talking about osbot, I was just saying that it had to be something malicious on my computer.
