Osbot Ban Rate?

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new and wondering what the general ban rate for Osbot in relation to 07 is? I know that suiciding is always a high ban risk. But is botting for a few hours a day very high ban rate or is it pretty normal? I remember a few years ago I botted 10 hours a day and got no marks or bans. Obviously it's different now and I'm just wondering how different.

Booch suicided 3 bots in 3 high ban rate skills(fishing, mining, woodcutting) and survived all three for over 72 hours.

After I saw him do that, I began to wonder if bans even existed anymore lol.

On a more serious note, if you babysit, take breaks, and don't bot a single skill for a long period of time(EX: only bot agility for a week or mining for a month, etc..) then you should be just fine.

tl;dr

-babysit

-take breaks

-bot multiple skills throughout the day

Thank you Allen :) Very helpful. The main reason I asked is a friend said it's high ban rate, got banned making a initiate pure. But he's the type to suicide so..2+2

No problem. I've also read throughout the forums that if you are caught, if you have two accounts botting you'll be perm banned because it's considered "gold farm botting."(While being caught on a single account can be a temp ban). So if you plan to bot on multiple accounts, I'd wait for OSBot 2's proxy support :P.

It really depends tbh. If you suicide I'd say medium to high.

But if you bot say 4-6 hours a day, I'd be surprised if you get a ban.

They differ from skill to skill, there all different in most cases.

Great responses, thank you guys. I think what I've pulled from this is to just not push it, and babysit it. Which is fine with me because I just want to lvl and have fun, not bank.

Pretty high on alot of methods but anything non goldfarming is pretty low banrate like alching or prayer gilded altar etc.

Don't bot ess. AT ALL.

Yeah and they are 30gp ea so who wants to bot them....

If you need ess to do runecrafting but don't have the cash to buy them? I don't know how else you could get it quickly other than buying/mining it yourself.

is runecrafting in the abyss a high ban rate?

What about combat? whats the banrate like that for? Places such as experiments, hill giants, yaks which have the highest ban rate?
