How to get your SDN Upload Request Denied

Featured Replies

I can only hope you accept mine when I have a request for mine to get uploaded :)

No, instaban for Verified. Just kidding, I love you like a little brother I want to suffocate.

He just asked when is it going to be released... What's wrong with that? Did he ask multiple times after you told him when it'd be uploaded?

"If it doesnt get released soon im just going to release the source". If the scripter doesnt have time to wait a little bit to put it up on the SDN, then he/she doesnt have the time to keep it updated. SDN Scripts are held to a higher standard, premium SDN scripts even more. If at any point in time (including my scripts) become unusable/rarely have updates, then they are subject to removal.

So people can be dicks just because they think "if he denies me the community suffers, so let me just act like a complete douche"

no not at all, a warning for future reference is all thats needed, not getting declined, if the scripter repeatedly pesters alek then by all means decline it but with good reason.

having no patience and having no time are 2 completely different things, although they can be linked with each other, they are still different.

I had a problem releasing first two scripts into SDN, as I made some mistakes, but Alek was patient and just told me "change this, and it's OK".
Now when I figured it out, I'm waiting max 1 week to get scripts to SDN, if it's free, it takes max 3-4 days, I can't imagine how many scripts he has to decline - bad logos formats, bad packaging...
