i understand stand that if you're caught gold farming you get perm banned but if you're just booting its a 1-2 day ban? so if I'm fishing sharks is that a perm ban or a 1-2 day ban? 

What im sure about is ,if ur botting 2+ accs at the same time on the same IP and u get caught , u will be banned permenantly on both. (Gold farming ban)

If you're just botting, 2 day ban. People saying you'll get permed, that's not true.

I got a 2 day yesterday.

for me, all bans i got were perm.

I have had times that I lost 80% of my accounts to goldfarming major. Just recently I lost like 7 accounts to macroing major (perm), 1 account to macro minor (2day) and 2 others were safe (all on different ips).

you can get a perm based on activitiy your botting as well even if its one account i would not bot sharks on same ip as any accounts i valued

got perm banned yesterday, just got a replacement VPS from my supplier (carbon hosts, do not recommend been having trouble with his VPS constantly blaming his nodes etc, excuses) he gave me a new replacement and the ip was apparently flagged so i just got on the VPS downloaded the new version of osbot, went on and bang hammer immediately i dced and i found out i was perm banned, i didn't even bot yet? i just logged so yeah be careful guys anyways i appealed it i hope for the best.

Pretty sure all bans are perm. got permed on all my fisher/ combat pures as well.
