I recently just got banned in Rs3 for botting. I babysat all my botting and I was talking to people the second I was banned too. So seems it has nothing to do with whether it looks like you're botting or not but they detect the client itself. So I'm here asking is 07 botting safer or just as risky as Rs3?

 

Edit: I was banned during the banwave during Feb 8. So for those who were saying they didn't get banned or whatever you probably weren't on at the time of the ban wave. Cause literally everyone on the forums confirmed they were banned when they were on during that time.

I've been at school all day, so I've missed any threads about bans, so I decided to just turn on my bots and test my luck.

you may have been detected before, when not babysitting, and they just got to ban you then.

Both are equally as dangerous.

 

Botting is botting, they have detection in both RS3 and 07. It's all very situational depending on what you're doing. :P

RS3 has much better bot detection than 07. They probably detected your bot client and auto-banned you.

They wouldn't attempt to detect him without signs of being a bot, which there wasn't. They had to have detected his bot from another time he was botting.

I've pretty much babysat the entire time I was botting in Rs3 and i was not goldfarming anything only doing skills such as firemaking and cooking. All times I made sure I talked to people. So it's more probable they detect clients. If they detect clients in 07 then theres no point in botting any mains.

RS3 detects botters WAY easily. 07 has a little less detection rate, but after hearing about the rumors about 07 being watched more..I'm not really sure anymore about botting on 07..I just stopped tbh..(At least for now)

It doesn;t seem situational on what you're doing I was at Shantay pass bonfire world talking with people when I was banned. So if anyone saw me I looked like a normal player. I even took breaks. I was quite careful. Like it seems as long as you're online during the ban wave on Feb 8 you were banned. Some didn't get banned cause they said they were offline at the moment.

Nope first time I got banned  Instant Macro major too. No second chance or anything. And what blows my mind is I wasnt even goldfarming.
