Script still running when stopped

Featured Replies

I stop my script and it still runs.  What does this mean?  The script is broken?

That usually happens to old scripts, which one is it btw?

Check out the actual script thread for similar situations happening to other or tell us the name as we have probably seen it happen before here.

It's my script.  I'm new to scripting (not programming) and it happens.

I think calling the garbage collector improves some of issues but I'm not sure.

This happens because the script is either still in or stuck in a loop, so it won't stop until it's done.

Ahh okay.  Is there a workout around for this?

Make sure you aren't using any loops that could be stuck forever (while loops without a timeout of some sort) or that run for too long.
